Chen Guang Wang is a Vancouver-based fine artist who moved from Beijing, China in 2008. He is largely self-taught artist but some atelier training have been taken privately. After working in 3D animation and video production for many years, Wang is still determined to pursue his passion for fine art and has completed his third year at Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
Wang was introduced to Russian Academic Art at an early age and his two favourite artists are the American painters John Singer Sargent and Andrew Wyeth. They have inspired him to focus on realism in his work.
Wang is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artist.
